kinda tired after working on this stuff so not a lot to say about these. been following some of the challenger tournaments lately to get a handle on some of the guys that nobody will know here. one guy that looks to be in at a nice price (but getting more expensive) is-
berdych (-130, carib) he's a kid but has been in great form in the challenger tournys, vs behrend in one of the later matches today.

the other one i like is ulihrach (+118, pinn) over abel. this is a case of taking the wily veteran over the kid. abel is a challenger level player who has not won much even there his record this year on hard courts is 5-16, all in challenger tornaments. ulihrach hasn't ever done much at the usopen, but he always seems to get a tough draw, when he's had competition like this in the past, he's gotten through pretty well.

I am on berdych too. he is playing well for an 18 year old, plus behrend is dodgy on hard courts and has not played any US hard stuff this summer yet.

This kid Berdych is proving to be a waste of time, and a huge moneymaker for the books today..... all that line movement, and this mofo can't seem to break Behrend, and we're already in the 17th game..

He couldn't hold serve in the 1st set, thus lost 7-5. ANd has allowed Behrend to break again in the 2nd set... all Behrend needs is one break a set, and this thing will be over in straight sets......ughhhh.

thanks for the list utlonghorn, but you might be surprised to know that info is available at various sites and i actually already had it.

2-1, +118 so far


using these today
draper +255 (5dimes) over moya. moya looked bad last couple outings on hard ct. losing twice to other clay court guys. draper beat kiefer in cincinnati quals before losing to federer but giving him a run in 3 sets. given the recent form of moya this overlay looks worth a chance on the aussie draper (i make moya -160ish)

van lottum -110 over c. rochus (carib) chance this might turn into a scalp opportunity later as he is -124, buyback +108 on rochus, at pinn right now. von lottum should be the fave i think, a bit difficult to judge as both these guys are clay courters but if numbers translate ok vonlottum should be -140 or so.


m. norman -105 over lisnard (canbet)not a whole lot to say here, neither of these guys is going anywhere here. overall recent numbers are pretty similar but norman has faced much tougher competition.


yesterday's parlay kinda stunk it up but gonna give it another shot today with this one

finished 1st rd 4-3 for +1.50,

looking at a few so far for second round.

koubek +260 vs gonzalez (5dimes) using "ball served" book here because i don't trust gonzalez' knee. (note +280 at pinn). i make this match a lot closer than the price even if i thought gonzalez was 100%, he has been forced to retire 4 times this year including 3 weeks ago in montreal. koubek is also 2-0 vs him, both on hardcourts.

hrbaty +275 over srichiphan (pinn) here's another where the h2h favors the dog (2-1) also srichi has played a lot of tennis over the past 3 weeks (over 160 games if i counted right) so despite the form demonstrated last week at longisland, he could be tiring. he was in similar form last year, also off a win at long island, and was beaten here in the 2nd rd by rusedski.

lee +750 over hewitt. (pinn) taking a shot here, do not want to back hewitt and don't want to miss the boat when he goes down.

2 favorites i like are stepanek and verdasco, will parlay them for a little better than even money(+110)

one for friday might want to look at early, tursunov over van lottum. -123 at pin now, a lot of people high on this russian kid now and rightfully so. van lottum got by fellow clay courter c.rochus in rd 1 but look for the young russian to give him trouble.

passed early rd 3 on saturday but for sunday i like-

novak -113 over el aynaoui - close call but my ratings do give the edge to novak here. el aynaoui hs played a lot of games ove the past 3 weeks as well, over 200 (twice as many as novak) and may be getting fatigued.

played both at pinnacle.
don't see either as a particularly big overlay based on my ratings, but like both of these dogs form in the tournament so far.
